Regional Shift: South Florida in Transition
CUES will be releasing a new regional report next month that highlights significant ways that South Florida has been transformed over the past decade. Through the generous support of the John D. and Catherine T. McArthur Foundation, this report updates the 2001 report, Imaging the Region: South Florida via Indicators and Public Opinions. Regional Shift: South Florida in Transition identifies key themes and trends in South Florida's environment, people, and economy. It tracks the region's transformations in each of these areas, emphasizing the increasing need to consider issues and formulate solutions regionally if South Florida is to remain economically competitive and environmentally sustainable. A press conference will be held in May and reports will be disseminated shortly thereafter. If you are interested in receiving a copy, please forward your contact information to Nicole Zucco at nzucco@fau.edu.
